Join Betsy Bertram for a restorative yoga workshop designed to open and nurture your chakras from root to crown. Enjoy restorative yoga poses, guided breathwork, and hands-on assists in each pose. This nourishing experience ends with an extended savasana (resting pose) with a head and neck release with essential oils.
Restorative yoga is a more passive, meditative form of yoga that helps release tension through gentle poses supported with props held for five minutes or more. This practice allows for a deeper focus on the breath and full body rejuvenation.
In Sanskrit, the word chakra translates to wheel and refers to the energy centers in the body. These energy centers connect to nerves and organs. Keeping your chakras balanced and open supports mental and physical health as well as energy levels.

Qigong Healing – using the Microcosmic Orbit meditation, we follow the energy pathways, circulating breath and blood for gaining energy and balancing the emotions. Sitting in a chair, I’ll be leading the meditation and touching the body at its energy gates through which the Orbit passes. Breathwork and visualization facilitate this practice.
Each of us has the ability to heal and be healed. It’s never too late to feel better. We need energy to do that, build our strength and calm down. Qigong offers gentle movements to open the pathways where our energy flows and restores our body rhythms. Sitting, standing, lying down, dress comfortably. Expect to feel more relaxed, flexible and confident in your ability to regenerate your life.
